The exhibition explored key themes within the artist’s remarkable career including engagement with his Jewish East End upbringing. He was born to a Polish Jewish immigrant worker, one of 11 children. Throughout his career, his contribution to Pre-war Britain and as a war artist in both World Wars is demonstrated.

To honour Bomberg’s original routes, throughout November we will be serving the Jewish inspired dish, Reuben Crostini. Toasted ciabatta with salt beef, pickled red cabbage, swiss cheese and a Russian style dressing.
